Most recently, Bret served as the National Air Resources Program Lead for the Bureau of Land Management. Prior to that, he was the Coordinator of the Atmospheric Modeling and Regional Haze Programs at the USDA Forest Service. Earlier in his career, Bret held influential positions with the EPA Office of Air Quality Planning and Standards (OAQPS), EPA Region 7, and the State of Nebraska. He played a key role in the development of AERMOD as part of the AMS/EPA Model Improvement Committee (AERMIC), co-chaired the Interagency Workgroup on Air Quality Models (IWAQM), which led to the adoption of CALPUFF as an EPA-preferred model, and contributed to authoring modeling guidance for the EPA and Federal Land Management agencies.
With Bret's expertise, BSM is poised to deliver even greater value to our clients, offering expanded capabilities and an enhanced range of services.
